Executive Director
Mellisa King, a native of Andalusia, serves as the Executive Director of the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce. With extensive experience in business, events, and insurance, Mellisa provides strategic leadership and oversees daily operations and staff, ensuring the Chamber effectively serves its members and the community. She guides the Chamber’s programs, initiatives, and events, creating opportunities that foster business growth and strengthen local partnerships.
Throughout her career, Mellisa has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the economic and civic development of Andalusia. She is actively involved in numerous local organizations, including the AOPA, the Pilot Club of Andalusia, the Coterie Club, and the Full Tummy Project, using her leadership and expertise to make a meaningful impact across the community. Her experience in business and events allows her to successfully manage complex projects while keeping the Chamber focused on serving its members.
In addition to her professional work, Mellisa enjoys culinary pursuits, and spending quality time with her nine grandchildren. Her dedication to the community and tireless work ethic were recognized in 2026 when she was named the Distinguished Citizen of Andalusia. Mellisa lives by the motto #LoveWhereYouLive, and her vision, leadership, and personal commitment continue to strengthen the Chamber and support the businesses and people that make Andalusia thrive.
Maggie Stoneback
Director of Membership Services
Born and raised in Andalusia, Maggie Stoneback serves as the Director of Membership Services at the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce. She leads marketing, digital communications, website management, and more, ensuring that the Chamber’s programs and messaging effectively reach and engage the community.
Maggie holds a degree in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing from Troy University and combines her academic training with hands-on experience gained while working for local Chamber member Ward and Co. During her college years, she also gained production experience in film and television as an actor, developing skills in storytelling, project management, and creative problem solving, all of which she applies to her work at the Chamber.
Passionate about supporting and promoting the people and businesses that make Andalusia unique, Maggie brings energy, creativity, and a deep connection to the community to every project. In her spare time, she trains and competes barrel horses, applying the same dedication and focus to her personal pursuits as she does to her professional work.
